Former Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock & Husband Chris Siegfried Welcome Second Child

Another Bachelor Nation baby has been born!

Former Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock and her husband Chris Siegfried welcomed their second child on Saturday, January 12.

Their little boy, named Zander Cruz Siegfried, weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and joins their 2-year-old son Asher.

Desiree shared the exciting news on Instagram over the weekend.

“Wait mom, let me fix my hat!” she sweetly captioned the photo of her little guy.

“We welcomed into the world our baby boy, Zander Cruz Siegfried, yesterday morning 1/12 at 8:30 am. He is every bit as sweet and snuggly as he looks.”

She continued, “Can’t wait to share more but for now baby and I are getting much needed rest as we spend time with family and are both doing great!”

The mother of two had opened up to Us Weekly shortly before giving birth about expecting baby number two.

“Everything is just way more casual now, everything,” she said.

“So, like, you know, we’re not worried about this silly stuff or the little stuff or, like, we barely just got all of the baby room ready and it’s funny.”

She continued, “We don’t have to stress about the little stuff.”

The Bachelor alum, who competed on Sean Lowe’s season before becoming The Bachelorette, announced they were having another boy in August.

“Asher’s face is priceless! And we are beyond excited to have another baby boy join our family!” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“Can’t even believe we’re already halfway there to meeting him. Our hearts are so full right now.”

Des also shared they were having another baby back in June, writing, “We are beyond excited to finally announce that we’re expecting baby number two!! And it’s safe to say after Asher realized he was going to be a BIG brother he wasn’t so happy!”
