Bachelorette couple, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers, are still going strong, but their relationship hasn’t been all smooth sailing.
Though the gorgeous pair got engaged on television a couple of years ago, their problems really started once they were off-air.
The couple opened up about their struggles on their web show, Engaged With JoJo & Jordan, and they were not afraid to be honest.
In fact, they nearly broke up after they returned to normal life following the show.
“That’s really when things kinda blew up for us, and we didn’t really know how to prepare for that,” Jordan explained.
“We’re trying to deal with everything. The backlash, the good, the bad … in the midst of learning about each other and meshing our lives.”
He continued, “We didn’t know how to communicate with each other … So a lot of times, unfortunately, I think we kinda just held in those feelings.”

The pair decided to move in together in Dallas, Texas, after they got engaged, but that also came with its own set of problems.
“Being scared to express ourselves was actually one of the most detrimental things we could’ve done to our relationship,” JoJo said.
However, despite having a hard first year with one another, they also had a lot of good times together, too!
“We had really amazing moments in that first year. What was the most frightening, for maybe both of us, were those really high highs and then seeing it go down into those low lows,” JoJo shared.
“It started to scare me into thinking this was an unstable relationship.”
She continued, “I can’t tell you how glad I am that we didn’t give up in that moment that we thought we could’ve walked one of two ways.”
