Bachelorette Alum Kaitlyn Bristowe Shares Sweet Photo With Shawn Booth’s Dog Tucker

Splitting up with your fiancé is hard no matter what, but for former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe, it’s even harder because someone else is involved.

And don’t worry, people, that someone else is not a person; it’s Shawn Booth’s dog Tucker!

Over the course of her relationship with Shawn, Kaitlyn grew extremely close to Tucker, who they also call Doodle, so this split cannot be easy for her or the pooch.

In fact, the Canada native shared a sweet photo of herself with Tucker last week and it brought back all the feels.

Kaitlyn also got emotional about Tucker just a few days before announcing her split from Shawn on her Instagram Stories.

“I’m actually balling my eyes out with a facemask on like a freak right now,” she said as she watched the music video for “Happier” by Marshmello featuring Bastille.

“I seriously can’t hold it together. It’s about a Golden Retriever … it’s such a good song but the video just got me. I can’t keep it together right now.”

She continued, “I’m like laughing at myself, this is like so funny. Is this normal to like, love a dog so much?”

Kaitlyn and Shawn officially announced the end of their engagement earlier this month.

“After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,” the statement said.

“Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways.”

The statement continued, “Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”
