Bachelorette alum DeAnna Pappas had a crazy time while on television, but she has found love and happiness off camera.
The reality star was the leading lady 10 years ago — back when she got engaged to Jesse Csincsak — but she is now happily married to her husband Stephen Stagliano and opened up about her relationship to E! News.
Though she went on the show for love, she’s happy she never settled for anything less than what she deserves.
“People always ask me if I went on for the right reasons and as dumb as it sounds and as cliché as it sounds, I really did. I was sold on the love story and the happy ending,” she explained.
“I’m proud I never settled. I think I really could have. I look back at some of the relationships I had. Of course I had regret.”
She continued, “Maybe I was an a–hole or someone else was an a–hole, but those relationships never worked out for a reason and my reason I believe is because the Lord had plans for me.”
DeAnna met Stephen seven years ago and the pair have two adorable kids together, Addison and Austin.

“He’s a fantastic father. My children love him a lot, more than they love me probably. He wants to be in their lives and he wants to play dress up with Addison or will build things with Austin,” she said.
“He’s hands on and he is the coolest dad in the world. I have nothing but respect for him.”
And, though her time on television is long gone, she does stay close with some of the other Bachelorette ladies like Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe.
“I love those people and I really want to build them up because they’re wonderful and great. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them,” she shared.
“I’m glad that we have a platform where we can all band together and think yeah, I don’t care how many seasons of Bachelor in Paradise they’ve been on.”
She continued, “They will never understand what it’s like for us who have gone through the show.”
It’s so good to see DeAnna doing well after her time on The Bachelorette!
