Former Bachelor star Jamie Otis has had a rough couple of weeks since her heartbreaking miscarriage.

The Married at First Sight alum and her husband Doug Hehner have been open about their loss on social media, but they took to their Hot Marriage, Cool Parents podcast to open up a bit more.

The mother of one explained this loss has been especially hard because she knows other mothers who are pregnant and due around the same time that she was.

“One of the most hurtful parts is that I know a lot of people who are pregnant,” the 32-year-old shared.

“My due date was August 8 and I know someone due August 9, I know someone who’s due August 21.”

She continued, “I know so many women who are due [around when I was] and we were all pregnant together, so excited. … The hardest part is to just watch them continue to have this healthy pregnancy.”

Though it’s been hard to watch the other expecting mothers move forward in their own pregnancies, she is doing her very best to be a supportive friend.

“These are people who I’m very close with and I’m going to watch them have this healthy, happy pregnancy that I was supposed to have too,” she said.

“And I’m trying not to be anything other than just happy for them.”

Jamie also took to her Instagram about a week ago to offer support to other mothers who are experiencing or have experienced a miscarriage.

“To all you mamas out there who have ever suffered a loss or are going through a loss right alongside me…please know you aren’t alone,” she wrote.

“We will get through this together. One in four never seems real until it happens to you. I’m here for you, my fellow angel baby mamas. No one should have to go through this alone.”
