Former Bachelor star Jade Roper is not here for the body shamers!
The mother of one shut down pregnancy speculation on Monday, January 7, after fans started questioning whether she’s expecting.
It all started after her husband, Tanner Tolbert, shared a photo of the pair at a Bachelor premiere party.
“Watching The Bachelor instead of the national championship game…” he captioned the photo of the couple.
Jade looked absolutely gorgeous in a blue dress, but fans thought they noticed a bit of a baby bump in the photo.
“Def baby bump! Mom of 4 here and I know the difference you’re too thin to bloat that much lol,” one person wrote.
“Is she pregnant?? She looks like she is,” another person wrote.
Somebody else added, “Pregnancy glow!?”
Jade seemed to put the rumors to rest when she also commented on the photo and simply said, “Forgot my spanx.”
I guess we can’t blame their assumptions too much since Jade has been open about trying for baby number two… but still, you should never assume!
She has also gotten honest with fans about the struggles to show a perfect life on social media.
“Social media is a funny thing. I almost didn’t post this pic because I didn’t feel it was good enough for the gram. The pressure to post perfect pictures is something I would say has been felt by all social media users, I know I feel this way when I start comparing myself to other accounts,” she shared a few months back.
“But I actually really love this photo because it’s our memory. This picture was taken after Emerson’s 1st birthday party; we are wet from swimming, tired, back into some comfy clothes and standing in our yard full of gross weeds. This photo was snapped by a friend because we were so busy we forgot to get a picture together as a family during her party.”
She continued, “I guess my point is share what makes you happy, what makes you sad, what makes you proud, what makes you feel like you— even if it feels imperfect. Share whatever you damn please because it’s your story to tell.”
We love that message!
