Bachelor Star Bekah Martinez Finishes School Semester While 7.5 Months Pregnant!

Former Bachelor star Bekah Martinez is a superhero!

Not only did the 23-year-old complete a full semester of college, she did it while seven and a half months pregnant.

The reality star alum took to Instagram to share the good news and to proudly show off her growing baby bump.

“I just finished my first term back at UC Irvine, 7.5 months pregnant, Ugg boots and sweatpants in full force. I’m so proud of myself,” she captioned the photo.

Bekah revealed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Grayston Leonard back in September.

Though they weren’t trying to have a child, it came as a beautiful surprise for the couple.

“I was in disbelief and thought, ‘Is this really happening?’ I immediately called Grayston and then went across the street to the Dollar Tree and bought two more pregnancy tests,” she told PureWow.

“They, of course, were both positive.”

And, while she’s never been sure she wants to be married, she has always known she wants to be a mother.

“It’s the one thing that I’ve known with certainty for so long. I’ve gone back and forth on the idea of marriage and relationships, but I’ve always felt sure that I want to be a mom,” she expressed.

She was even able to tell Grayston the exciting news about her pregnancy on Father’s Day of all days.

“I was crying (happy tears) and said, ‘You’re going to be a dad!’ We hugged, and it was the first time we really got to be overjoyed. We were finally able to celebrate and soak up all of that emotion,” she said.

“I wanted time to process it between Gray and I and our family without all of the exterior noise chiming in.”
