Bachelor Star Ashley Iaconetti Says She Was “Definitely Serious” About Freezing Her Eggs

Former Bachelor star Ashley Iaconetti isn’t afraid to share her truth if it means helping other women.

The reality star recently opened up on her Almost Famous podcast with fellow Bachelor star Ben Higgins and revealed she planned on freezing her eggs before her 30th birthday.

She ended up falling in love with fiancé Jared Haibon right before her birthday and ended up not going through with it, but she was prepared to have it done.

In fact, the 30-year-old told Us Weekly she was inspired by other members of Bachelor Nation to get it done.

“I feel like so many girls have,” she said recently.

“Even in Bachelor Nation, like Kaitlyn [Bristowe], Carly [Waddell], Whitney [Bischoff] and Andi [Dorfman].”

She continued, “They all did it together and they talked about it so openly, so I was, like, ‘Oh no, that’s a really good idea if you hit 30.’”

She is now happily engaged to Jared and the pair is tying the knot in August 2019, but she still recommends the procedure to other single women.

“[I was] definitely serious,” she confirmed.

“If I was approaching my 30th birthday being single, I definitely was — and not knowing that Jared’s feelings had turned — that was definitely going to be my birthday present to myself.”

She continued, “It would’ve make me feel so much better and not in a rush to not find anyone.”

Now that she is engaged and planning a wedding, Ashley has been open about the fact she’d like to start trying for children in a couple of years.

In fact, their plan is to start trying when Ashley turns 32, which sounds like a great plan to us!
