Bachelor In Paradise Star Kevin Wendt Proposed To Astrid Loch

Another Bachelor Nation couple is heading down the aisle! Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch, who met and fell in love last year on Bachelor in Paradise, announced their engagement Tuesday.

Loch shared a photo from the moment, which happened in Wendt’s hometown of Toronto in August, on her Instagram page. “08.28.19. I could have sworn the world stood still in this moment. A moment I’ll never forget. Just you + me,” the former Bachelor star captioned the photo.

“@kevin.c.wendt you’ve taught me to love, learn and grow and I can’t believe you’ve chosen me to spend this crazy life with. Wonder if I’ll ever stop smiling? Probably not. In this together, forever.”

Wendt also shared another set of photos from their special day to his Instagram page, writing, “You’ll never walk alone again. From here on out, we run together. Astrid you are my family, babe. Forever. (See my stories for the adventure/most nervous I’ve been my entire life!!!).”

The news of their engagement comes shortly after Loch’s close friend, former The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay, married Bryan Abasolo. Not to mention, two other Bachelor in Paradise couples got married over the summer — Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, and Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone.

Loch, who competed on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, and Wendt, who was actually on the Canadian version of The Bachelor, decided to give their relationship a shot last summer when they met on Bachelor in Paradise.

Though Loch was living in Florida at the time, she decided to pack up her life and move to Toronto to be with Wendt full-time. That move certainly proved to be a smart one as the two prepare to spend the rest of their lives together.
