Bachelor in Paradise star, Jordan Kimball, is leaving the past behind him and is focusing on the future.
As many fans know, the 26-year-old recently broke off his engagement to ex-fiancée, Jenna Cooper, after she allegedly cheated on him.
The information was revealed last month when Reality Steve shared text messages Jenna had reportedly sent to a man she was seeing behind Jordan’s back.
Though it’s been a few weeks of turmoil — and legal issues — Jordan is excited to move forward with his life.
“It is what it is. I said nothing about it. The email was sent to me. I got phone calls from the firm. It was an attorney representing her,” he told Us Weekly over the weekend.
“I’ve heard nothing back and her family stopped — I guess you could say bashing me online. They have said nothing. She has said nothing. It’s behind us.”
He continued, “I no longer feel I need to defend myself. It is what it is.”
He’s had a rough time, but the good news is he has family and friends surrounding him to keep him positive.
“It’s something that just kind of hits you here and there. It just kind of strikes,” he shared.
“You get in your feelings and you deal with it. You just flood yourself with positivity and you hope that you can get through the rest of the day.”
He continued, “It is still very recent. It’s not easy. But I’m getting through it.”
Jenna has maintained her innocence throughout all this drama, even going so far as to hire a lawyer, and she has threatened Jordan with legal action.
In fact, her lawyer, Justin R. Apple, sent Jordan an email accusing him of fabricating the text messages.
“We have not heard from you likely because you know what we know (i.e.; that you created the fabricated texts posted by [Reality Steve blogger] Stephen Carbone),” the email said.
“You are clearly avoiding the situation because you know the truth already.”
