Bachelor contestant Demi Burnett has thrown quite a bit of shade since Colton Underwood’s season started earlier this month, and this week is no exception!
In fact, the 23-year-old seemed to shade two of Colton’s exes and former Bachelor Nation contestants, Tia Booth and Becca Kufrin.
It all started on Monday’s episode when the interior designer shared that Colton needs a woman who is “dominant.”
“I think Colton will realize he needs a girl in his life that is more bold and confident and will take a bit more of a dominant role,” she said during the episode.
“I think that Colton is looking for a girl that can take charge and take control. Even if he, like, doesn’t know that he’s looking for that, I think that that’s what he needs.”
Demi then said the women Colton dated in the past were not aggressive enough and didn’t challenge him, clearly alluding to the former Bachelor girls.
“I totally think that Colton’s past relationships, they weren’t very aggressive girls, they weren’t very dominant girls, and they didn’t work out for him for a reason,” Demi said.
“I’m the only one who challenges Colton, and I excite him and I make him nervous.”
Both Becca and Tia caught wind of Demi’s comments and responded on Twitter.
Former Bachelorette Becca responded to Demi’s words with three sigh face emojis, while Tia wrote, “I scared him into dating me for 3 whole days so idk what’s more dominant than that.”
Bachelor Nation fans are shared their thoughts on Twitter, with one person writing, “Yeah wait Tia was very dominant and Becca was in a dominant position as the bachelorette? Demi is just straight up wrong!”
Another person wrote, “Are we gonna mention that shade is also @Aly_Raisman?? Like an all-time strong woman.”
Shots. Fired. Do you think Aly had a good point or was she just blowing smoke?
