Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham Reveal The Sex Of Their Baby!

Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are having a baby girl!

The gorgeous pair, who got engaged a year ago, shared the exciting news about their gender reveal with Us Weekly.

While the couple was initially told they were having a boy, another test confirmed they’re actually expecting a daughter!

“I think, to be honest, in the beginning we were both hoping that we were having a girl,” Lauren confessed.

“We actually did the early gender test online, so we took our test at 10 weeks. We got the results back from that, and it was that we were having a boy.”

The doctor told them to do an ultrasound at around 15 weeks, which is when they found out that they’re having girl after all.

“I was very quiet. The ultrasound tech says, ‘Well. I’m about 98 percent.’ So I still wasn’t convinced after the first time we saw it,” Arie said.

“We went back to the doctor, went back a few other times and just went back for our anatomy scan. It’s definitely a girl!”

Arie then had to call The Bachelor producers and tell them it’s not a boy, since they had already taped a gender reveal for the show.

“The phone call back to the producers was hilarious because they’re like, ‘Arie, you’re always making things difficult!’ We all had a big laugh about it.”

Though they were happy either way, Lauren is especially excited to be having a little girl.

“I was really nervous to be a boy mom because I just don’t know that I can relate as well, being a woman relating to a little boy,” she explained.

“I have a little brother, and he’s so sweet and I love him to death, but sometimes I don’t really understand why he acts that way he does. I’m feeling a lot more confident in being able to be a girl mom first!”
