Bachelor Alum Nick Viall Is “Still Friends” With Ex Vanessa Grimaldi — Do They Keep In Touch?!

Former Bachelor Nick Viall has a lot of respect for his ex-fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi, but that doesn’t mean they keep in touch.

The 38-year-old revealed to Us Weekly this past Monday that he hasn’t spent time with the 31-year-old since their split back in August 2017, despite being friendly.

“We are still friends, but that’s about it,” he explained.

Nick and Vanessa got engaged back in November 2016 when The Bachelor filmed that season’s finale episode.

They gave their relationship a fair shot, but they decided to call it quits about nine months later.

“It’s with a great amount of heartbreak for the both us as we have decided to end our engagement,” they said at the time in a statement.

“We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairy-tale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what.”

They continued, “This hasn’t been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other.”

Nick and Vanessa are both still single since the split, but there are rumors floating around that Vanessa is dating Bachelorette alum Peter Kraus!

Though nothing has been confirmed — Peter and Vanessa were just spotted hanging out last week with pal Taylor Nolan — Nick is happy for her nonetheless.

“Good for them. I have been really busy, you know, if that’s true, good. Congratulations, that’s fantastic,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

“I would love her to be happy, and if that makes her happy, I am all for it.”

We want Vanessa and Nick to both be happy!
