Former Bachelor star Nick Viall isn’t keeping up with his ex-fiancée Vanessa Grimaldi’s life.
Rumors began swirling the other day that Vanessa may be dating former Bachelorette star Peter Kraus.
Though nothing has been confirmed and fans only started speculating because of a picture, Nick told Entertainment Tonight that he’s happy for his ex no matter what.
“Good for them,” he shared.
“I have been really busy, you know, if that’s true, good. Congratulations, that’s fantastic. I would love her to be happy, and if that makes her happy, I am all for it.”
Nick and Vanessa got engaged back in March 2017, but they decided to end things just a few months later.
Nick was also a contestant on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette, coming in second behind Shawn Booth.
As for Kaitlyn and Shawn’s recent breakup, Nick is wishing them both all the best.
“They had a good, long run. I truly haven’t kept in touch with them, so I really don’t know anything,” he explained.
“Anyone that goes through a breakup, I am sure it’s hard, and I wish anyone that goes through a breakup all the best, as I would them.”
Meanwhile, Nick is looking forward to watching new Bachelor Colton Underwood find love this season, but he doesn’t care all that much about his virginity storyline.
“I personally am not interested in if Colton loses his virginity or not,” he said, referencing the new poster that was revealed with the tagline, “What does he have to lose?”
Nick continued, “I am interested in whether he meets someone he has feelings for.”
Great point, Nick!
