Royal watchers have been on the edge of their seats waiting for baby news from Prince Harry and, his wife, Meghan Markle, and now they are rejoicing! The news they’ve been waiting for has finally happened!
On Monday, the Duchess Of Sussex gave birth to a baby boy. The newborn has weighed in 7 pounds, 3 ounces.
Folks worldwide fell in love with the love story between Prince Harry and Meghan and tuned in to see the pair get married last year!
Markle has a soap connection here in the States! Her father, Thomas Markle, Sr., was a lighting director at General Hospital and she briefly appeared on the show in a small role.

But her biggest role was as Rachel Zane on the USA series Suits. During her time on the show, Rachel went from ingenue to the show’s conscience. But as her role in Harry’s life heated up, she had to bow out of the series.
In 2017, Markle relocated to London after she and Harry became engaged. She also shut down her social media accounts.
The baby boy has three cousins courtesy of Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, who are proud parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis! Congratulations to the new parents!
