A Million Little Things is coming back tonight for Season 3 in an episode titled “Hit & Run.” As fans of the show recall, the Boston-based drama left viewers with a series of cliffhangers in its sophomore season finale.
Will those cliffhangers finally be addressed in the premiere, which is airing tonight? We certainly hope so — but here’s what we’re hoping to see:
Eddie’s Fate
Eddie (David Giuntoli) had made the decision to stay sober and wanted to renew his vows with Katherine (Grace Park) when fate intervened and he was hit by a car. Watch for Katherine to lean on their group of beloved pals in the aftermath of Eddie’s accident. Just how badly was he hurt? His fate remains in limbo. Even if he does go to that great nighttime soap in the sky, it’s possible he could continue to appear in flashbacks or as a figment of characters’ imaginations.
A Marriage in Jeopardy
Rome (Romany Malco) and Regina (Christina Moses) were still in a state of euphoria over their newborn son, Jon, being born last season on A Million Little Things. Destiny had other ideas, however, when biological mother Eve (Ebboney Wilson) decided she couldn’t give up her baby, after all. Will Rome and Regina’s marriage survive this terrible loss? Watch for the couple to examine how they feel about their future.
Let’s Be Pals
Maggie (Allison Miller) left for Oxford after Gary (James Roday Rodriguez) told her that he loves her – as a friend. He’s got his romantic eye on Darcy (Floriana Lima), who, last season, urged Gary to focus on what he really wants. Are Maggie and Gary truly destined to not have a future? Hopefully, tonight’s return will give us answers.
Guest stars in tonight’s episode include: Chris Geere as Jamie; Gerard Plunkett as Reverend Stewart; Veena Sood as Nurse Shayna; and Greta Carew-Johns as Cassie, and Ian Gordon as Bystander #2.
A Million Little Things was created by DJ Nash. Tonight’s episode was written by Nash and Michelle Leibel, and directed by Nina Lopez-Corrado. A Million Little Things returns tonight, Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
