Sami is beside herself on Days of Our Lives! The bandaged mystery patient who can’t see, hear, or speak – that’s her beloved EJ! How does she know? A DNA test confirmed it!
A DNA test that Sami (Alison Sweeney) did based on hair from a Marlena (Deidre Hall) doll that Susan (Stacy Haiduk) said she made using her own hair, and the mystery patient’s… uh… what?
But it doesn’t matter! Sami has her EJ back! Even if she initially wasn’t planning to tell Susan about it. (Yes, Susan did the same thing to Sami vis-a-vis Will but, really, be the better woman here, Sami.)

This was all a little too easy, 29% of cynics dismiss. All we know is that there is a genetic match between Susan and the mystery man, not that he is EJ necessarily.
But there are other possibilities. Remember all those identical siblings Susan had? Penelope? Mary Moira? Thomas? This could be one of their children.
There would still be a partial match to Susan. Have they considered testing the mummy against Chad (Billy Flynn) or Stefan (Tyler Christopher)? You aren’t convinced yet!
