Camila Banus on Gabi's Whereabouts on Days of Our Lives

After Gabi recovered from Salem’s mystery virus this spring, we’ve barely seen her on our “Days of Our Lives” screens.

Romance on Hold?
Just as Gabi and JJ’s romance began heating up, Gabi seemed to disappear to take care of Arianna (we assume). At least we see JJ (Casey Moss) playing super cop trying to locate his missing sister.

Now, Camila Banus has some answers about Gabi’s future and let us know in a tweet that she actually didn’t work for several months. Of course, she’s under contract, so are we right to assume she’ll be back?

According to Banus, Gabi will make her way back into your hearts soon.

A Welcome Return
Banus returned to DAYS last fall after a more-than-year-long absence last fall when her character received am early prison release. She soon dealt with the death of Will, the father of her toddler daughter. Still, Gabi marched on and made a new life for herself as a model, picking up a new love along the way, JJ.
