It’s not exactly a triangle on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)… yet. Rafe seems perfectly content to be engaged to Hope — although her reluctance to actually, you know, get married, is a bit disconcerting.
The only thing he’s done for ex Sami is to urge his fiancée to go a little easier on the grieving mother. And dig up her son when she asked but hey — he wasn’t in there so that was a good move. Though Sami’s bizarre behavior can’t be completely attributed to everything with Will. Some of it is just vintage Sami.
But is there more to Rafe’s (Galen Gering) concern than just lingering affection? Is Hope (Kristian Alfonso) or Sami (Allison Sweeney) the right woman for the hunky cop? Almost 4,000 of you are ready to play Cupid!
Seeking Some Sami
The good boy and the bad girl, what could be better, wonder 42% of you, as you cheer for the one-time couple to reunite. Sure, Rafe may not have been the love of Sami’s life, but she, at least, was more into him than Hope seems to be.
Rafe was there for a lot of tough times with Sami, including the death of the baby she thought was hers, Grace, and the return of the one who actually is, Sydney.
Their relationship has depth — and feelings like that don’t just disappear.
Besides, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is a self-pitying drunk, and E.J. is – presumed — dead. Rafe should be looking pretty good to Sami right about now.
Hope-Full
Love the one you’re with, urge a dissenting 37%. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has a lot going for her, not the least of which is not being an unhinged, selfish, scheming trouble-maker… without a long-term contract to stay in Salem.
None of the Above
Rafe is a good, upstanding guy, sigh a minority but solid 20%. He deserves a woman who isn’t hung up on a dead guy — and that includes both Sami and Hope. Find him someone new and preferably without a lot of baggage to love.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
