Revenge is a dish best served cold. And it’s getting chilly in Salem. Should Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) former priest get back at his ‘brother’ for costing Eric the love of his life? (To be honest, Nicole was the love of a lot of men’s lives.)
Karma-Karma-Karma-Chameleon
After almost 4,000 votes were tallied, it seems that Eric (Greg Vaughn) doesn’t need to get back at Brady (Eric Martsolf), opine 41% of you.
Did Eric forget? He has God on his side! Eric doesn’t need to lift a finger. God will take care of Brady for him. (Or karma, or fate — it’s dealer’s choice.)
Maybe Brady will be smited with boils. Or locusts. Maybe the Salem River will turn to blood (just for Brady), or a lightning bolt will come down from the sky and zap Brady into looking like Yahoo Serious.
Whatever the endgame, no need for Eric to get his holy hands dirty.
Rising Above
Sure, Eric could seek earthly revenge, concede a slightly smaller 40%. But that’s not who he is as a person. Eric and Brady may have grown up in the same home as brothers (though, remember when Eric and Sami were a lot older than Brady — hard to tell now, huh?), but maybe this is a case of Nature over Nurture.
Eric is Roman’s (Josh Taylor) son. Roman is pretty even-keeled, and so is he. John (Drake Hogysten) is more of a hot-head, but even his DNA isn’t enough to turn Brady. Those Kiriakis genes, on the other hand….
Go For It!
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for a Nicole. It’s in the Bible, point out a minority 18%, so Eric has nothing to worry about. Break out that Old Testament wrath. Granted, Brady might strike back with the don’t covet your neighbor’s wife (girlfriend, whatever) bit. May the best man win!
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
