Soap fans have had to get creative to get their dose of daily drama during the recent impeachment hearings. While most fans have gone to the Web to see their soaps, there’s another possible alternative — at least for Days of our Lives fans.
Days of our Lives Seen Elsewhere
Soap Hub has learned that some COZI TV stations over the last week were running episodes of DAYS. It’s possible if you tune in to your COZI TV channel on Monday, you might get to see DAYS if it’s pre-empted on NBC.
According to COZI TV’s website, COZI is “a national network bringing viewers America’s most beloved and iconic television series, hit movies and original programming brought to you by the NBC Owned Television Stations. An American free-to-air television network that is owned by the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal. The network airs classic television series from the 1950s to the 2000s.”
Among other programs that COZI airs are The Bionic Woman, Charlie’s Angels, Columbo, The Lone Ranger, Frasier, Murder, She Wrote, The Six Million Dollar Man, Will & Grace, and Starsky & Hutch, and many others.
Good News
DAYS recently received a one-year renewal, which will take the show to its 56th anniversary. Episodes will air on NBC until late August 2021. Reportedly, DAYS actors are coming back to the studio Monday, February 3 after a nine-week production break.
DAYS is executive produced by Ken Corday. The show is written by head writer Ron Carlivati. Greg Meng and Albert Alarr serve as DAYS’ co-executive producers. DAYS debuted on November 8, 1965, as a half-hour show. A decade later, it evolved into an hour-long program. The show’s long-running cast members include Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie), Bill Hayes (Doug), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie), and Deidre Hall (Marlena).
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes. Also, check your local cable and TV lineup to see if COZI TV is part of your package and, if so, what channel it’s on.
