Kristen has been acting pretty cocky on Days of Our Lives as she has set about reclaiming her life using Nicole’s face to do it. So far, she has been pretty lucky. She’s gotten to kiss her obsession, Brady, she’s just talked herself into the CEO position of Basic Black with DiMera, and she seems unstoppable. But one person can end it all.
Right now, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) seems convinced that she can prance around as Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) without anyone being able to stop her.
The only person who truly knows the truth is Xander (Paul Telfer), and he wouldn’t double cross her at this point. So who can stop her silent reign of terror?
Well, wouldn’t be quite the kick in the pants for her if the Original Recipe Nicole were to find her way back to Salem? How shocking would it be for Nicole to return and everyone is treating her horribly because they’ve been dealing with Kristen?
But the worst moment for Nicole might be actually coming face to face with “herself” at the most unexpected moment for them both (isn’t that how it always is on a soap?!), wherever that may be at the time. And chances are it won’t be a Kodak moment for Kristen either.
Right now, acting as Nicole has kept her lethal brand of crazy in check. In fact, she seems more about bringing people back from the dead than sending them there, which is a nice change of pace for her. But if her ticket to legitimacy is challenged by an undead Nicole — all of that could change.
That’s not to say that her charade as Nicole can’t be uncovered in another way. She can’t keep this up forever and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) has already caught her once and alerted Brady (Eric Martsolf). It’s only a matter of time before her cover is completely blown. What will happen to poor Salem when that happens?
