Abigail already has alternate personalities on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) that took on names of her best friend and her grandmother — what if the next one is of her tormentor?!
It feels like things are starting to come to a head for Abby (Marci Miller), as her alters, Dr. Laura and Gabigail, continue to fight for dominance.
While they were distracted, Abigail was able to get control and head to Marlena (Deidre Hall) for help. But if the past serves as anything, it’s that Abby doesn’t stay in control long.
While that’s going on, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) are playing high stakes chess, with the identity of Andre’s killer being at stake.
If Stefan wins, Chad has to walk away and leave him alone. But as Chad wins more pieces, he gets to ask questions of Stefan — and more and more is revealed.
As Abby’s alters feel more and more threatened, chances are they’ll need to fight outside forces — not just each other.

But Dr. Laura uses her brain and Gabigail just wants to be loved by Stefan and accepted as someone real. Neither is equipped to do the heavy lifting that would come with being on the offensive.
That is where we think a new personality could emerge to take physical control of the situation.
As we said, Abby seems to have these alters based on real people — wanting to be loved is her best friend Gabi (Camila Banus) while the brain behind the situation is named after her grandmother, Dr. Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer).
Who better to name the heavy, the one who can do her dirty work, than Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) — the man who tortured her and killed several people in Salem? Female soap opera characters have had male personalities in the past, so it’s not that farfetched.
So if we do see Ben, chances are there isn’t anything ‘he’ wouldn’t do to protect Abigail from anyone seen as a threat — and that could include Chad.
