It seems the noose is tightening around Gabi on Days of Our Lives.
Abigail (Kate Mansi) has tried to convince Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that Gabi (Camila Banus) used the pills Kayla prescribed to drug Abigail.
And, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) dug through Gabi’s drawers for the Envelope of Doom and now knows Chad is Charlotte’s father.
Gabi is guilty. She did convince everyone from Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) to Stefan (Tyler Christopher) that Gabby was back, and Gabigail was a threat to her children, not to mention herself.
Is there anything that could redeem her in yours – and Salem’s – eyes? Here’s how almost 6,000 fans feel.
Moral Event Horizon
For 54% of you, there’s no going back. Gabi had a good reason for shooting Nick. And, yes, she was certainly within her rights to be angry at Abby.
But, anger is one thing; getting a woman locked up in a mental institution and away from her children is another. There’s no going back now, Gabi – it’s straight to the villain hall of fame for you! (It’s more fun there, anyway.)
Halfway Point
This girl can still be saved, 31% of the audience is keeping the faith – but only if she stops what she’s doing right away, and quickly begins making amends to all the people she’s hurt.
Tell Chad and Abigail (and Stefan) about the baby, admit you framed Abigail with a black wig and some gullible relatives and maybe – maybe! – we’ll forgive and forget.
Understandable
For 14%, however, all of Gabi’s actions are understandable. She was sent to prison for a crime she didn’t commit.
She was beaten and may never be able to have more children. She’s allowed to act out. And Abigail does deserve her wrath. If Ben is being held responsible for his past, so should she. And if Abigail is forgiven, so should Gabi.
