It feels like it wasn’t that long ago that Abby didn’t know who Thomas’s father was on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) — is the show really going to do this story again with her?!
At the time, Abigail (then played by Kate Mansi) had two men in the Who’s The Daddy Sweepstakes — Chad (Billy Flynn) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). As you now know, Chad won the big prize and got to be Thomas’s biological father.
Now it feels like the show may be revisiting the story — with the same character! Only this time it’s Marci Miller’s turn as Abigail to have two men. Poor Chad once again would have another man trying to claim to be the baby’s father — his own half-brother, Stefan (Tyler Christopher).
This, of course, is predicated on Abigail being pregnant though it is definitely looking like the show will be doing this story. The question is — do fans think that Abby really needs a story like this AGAIN?! Soap Hub asked you your thoughts and here are the results.
No, No, No
After almost 10,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 90% are firmly against this story. While Chabby fans really want another baby for their favorite couple, they don’t need to see it happen this way.
It’s horrible for fans to think that Abby could be pregnant by the man who raped her.
While Stefan may not think he raped her, the fact is that Abigail would never have consented to have sex with Stefan. While Gabigail felt real to him, she wasn’t and they used Abby’s body against her will. For there to be a child as a result, is oh-so-wrong in your eyes.
Ease On Down The Road…Again
For 10%, you are all over this story happening again — what could be better? It’s messy, it’s dramatic, and it a story worthy of all of the actors involved.
