So, Just Who Is Noelle Curtis On Days of Our Lives?

Rex confessed to Sarah Horton that he’d slept with her sister, Noelle Curtis, on Days of Our Lives, derailing their dynamic and sending her into Xander’s arms of steel!

So just who is Sarah’s sister Noelle? Soap Hub can shed some light on the subject!

Noelle Curtis is the daughter of Neil Curtis (Joe Gallison) and Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring). Neil and Liz were one of DAYS’ most popular couples in the 1980s — and given how many romantic duos there were in that era, that’s saying quite a bit!

Originally, Liz was wed to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). He ordered her not to tell Neil that she loved him; if she did, Neil would be killed!

Liz tried sending a message to Neil that she still cared deeply for him by singing the Willie Nelson hit Always On My Mind at Doug’s Place to Neil, who drowned his sorrows at the bar.

Later, Neil and Liz made love and she became pregnant. Tony thought, initially, that the baby was his.

A pregnant Liz and Marlena (Deidre Hall) were kidnapped by Stefano (Joe Mascolo). Roman (then, Wayne Northrup; now, Josh Taylor) and Abe (James Reynolds) rescued them.

But, before Roman and Abe could work their magic Liz went into labor and Noel was born. Later, the show did a social issue story when Noelle was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. (In real-life, Loring’s son, Brennan Thicke, was diagnosed with JD.)

Sadly, Liz and Neil split when Loring left the show. They shared custody and later, Neil and Noelle Curtis left Salem, too.

Technically, Days of our Lives’ Rex (Kyle Lowder) slept with Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) half-sister as she and Noelle share the same dad (Neil) but different mothers (Sarah’s mom is Maggie).

Noelle was played in the 1980s by Samantha Barrows, who, per her IMDB page, has held a variety of positions in show business. She’s continued to act and has worked on the production staff of Grey’s Anatomy.
