It’s been a while since Days of Our Lives (DOOL) has welcomed a bouncing baby boy or girl.

In 2015, both Theresa (Jen Lilley) and Abigail (Marci Miller) delivered Tate and Thomas, and at the end of 2016, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) delivered Nicole’s daughter Holly. Since then, there have been no pregnancies on the horizon.

Soap Hub polled Days of Our Lives fans about the potential for the pitter patter of new little feet in 2018; specifically, who you’d like to see have a baby in the new year. Over 12,000 of you cast your votes, and here’s who came out on top.

Abigail
The overwhelming winner was Abigail, who received 63% of the tally. Fans would love to see the happily married lady and her hubby Chad (Billy Flynn) expand their family and have a second child. Thomas needs a little brother or sister.

Lani
Notching 16% of your votes was Lani (Sal Stowers), probably because she just had a one-night stand with Eli (Lamon Archey), after a miscommunication with her boyfriend JJ (Casey Moss).

In soap land, that usually means a surprise pregnancy with a “Who’s the Daddy?” twist. You think it would make an interesting story.

Gabi
Some 9% of you chose Gabi (Camila Banus) as the gal you’d most like to see have a baby. After all, she’s already a great mom to Arianna. As for who should be the baby daddy, fans are torn between boyfriend, Eli, and old love, JJ.

Sami
Having Sami (Alison Sweeney) back and watching her fight to reach the amnesiac Will (Chandler Massey) made you remember what a super mom she is. That’s why 9% of you picked her as the woman you’d most like to see expecting, again. And considering her recent one-nighter with Rafe (Galen Gering), it may happen.

Claire
A teen pregnancy for Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was the choice of 3% of you. She did seem rather weak in the hospital when Theo (Kyler Pettis) was first shot. It would solidify their young relationship and bonus — it would drive Ciara (Victoria Konafel) mad.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
