They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this beach-loving little cutie grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Obviously, this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She has been acting since the age of 5. As a model, she has appeared in ad campaigns for Guess and Pottery Barn. She has appeared in a Justin Bieber music video. She began her acting career in 2012 thanks to a guest appearance on a Disney Channel program. And she is a Daytime Emmy winner.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester, B&B), True O’Brien (ex-Paige Larson, DAYS), Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Davis, GH), or Hunter King (ex-Summer Newman, Y&R)?
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
Like today’s featured star, Wood is the recipient of a Daytime Emmy, a music video star, and she did launch her professional career by appearing in commercials. However, she was already a teenager when she became the face of First Choice Haircutters and the recording artist that she worked opposite with was Miles Fisher, not Bieber.
Ainsworth appeared in a plethora of commercials throughout her adolescence (including one for Barbie dolls), and she is indeed a Daytime Emmy winner and a music video star. But her acting career was launched thanks to an appearance in the drama series Medical Investigation, and she appeared in videos released by the band Smoke Season, not Bieber. So she isn’t today’s mystery actor.
And neither is King. Though she is a Daytime Emmy winner, King’s first acting job was in the Steven Spielberg-helmed A.I. Artificial Intelligence and even though she did appear in a music video, it was for the Miley Cyrus single 7 Things When She Was Younger.
O’Brien was only 5 when her mother arranged for her to appear in her first commercial, and that experience eventually led to modeling assignments and a desire to pursue a career in acting. She made her small screen debut in an episode of Jessie, which was soon followed by a one-year stint at DAYS (during which time she won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress), and roles in Queen Sugar and Code Black.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was True O’Brien – who appeared opposite Justin Bieber in the music video One Time, – then you were absolutely correct!
