It wasn’t too long ago that Days of our Lives fans were treated to a ghostly return by True O’Brien to her Daytime Emmy-winning role of Paige Larson, the beloved daughter of Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Eduardo (A Martinez), who lost her life back in 2015. Now the actress has revealed her own stunning loss close to home.

True O’Brien Mourns Her Grandmother

The young star took to her Instagram account to pay tribute to her beloved grandmother, along with a few beautiful shots of her as well as a throwback image of herself.

“Miss you already Grandma, 💕 💐🌸🕊” wrote O’Brien in the caption next to the images. “What a beautiful angel for the heavens to receive. I love you with all my heart and cherish the many memories we had together.” She goes on to share some of those memories that reveal their very special bond.

“From feeding leftover pancakes to the squirrels, making root beer floats, to our long sunset walks. I will miss the way you say ‘you are on candid camera!’ before every picture you took. Happy you are reunited with Grandpa, the love you had for each other inspires me greatly to this day,” she wrote.

O’Brien’s words inspired her followers to share some of their feelings about what she’s going through. Instagram user shellyh29 commented, “I’m truly sorry for your loss you were so very blessed mine passed before I was born but I seen how my mom was with my daughters and grandmothers are a beautiful blessing so great you have special memories to remember, that’s something no one can ever take away sending you love and light you’re in my thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏”
