The year’s holiday of love, Valentine’s Day, recently passed, and it got Soap Hub thinking about which man on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) would make the most romantic date.
Salem has its fair share of great guys – the kind who would go all out for the woman (or man) in their life. Some are tender and some are tough, yet, when it comes to romance, they all have one thing in common: pleasing their significant other.
Here’s how the men of DAYS stack up as dates.
The Latin Lover
As a DiMera, Chad (Billy Flynn) has Italian blood in his veins, which means he’s romantic, passionate and, of course, a great Latin lover.
Toss in his family fortune and innate desire to protect his woman from the outside world, and you’d get a no-expense-spared, unforgettable night at home filled with great food, fine wine, sparkly jewelry, and idyllic ambiance.
Mr. Classic
Super spy John (Drake Hogestyn) knows how to treat a lady. He’s a classic kind of guy — sophisticated and smooth, a la James Bond. He’s been indulging Marlena (Deidre Hall) with loving gestures for decades. His go-to choice has long been strawberries and whipped cream, coupled with slow dancing and a delectable dinner for two.
Mr. Loyal
Is there a man more devoted to a woman than Steve (Stephen Nichols)? Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is his heart, his soul, and the reason he gets up in the morning.

Crazy Stupid Lover
Brady (Eric Martsolf) is an unusual kind of guy. He loves women to a fault, which is why he’s so easily bamboozled by them. When he’s with someone he truly cares about, he is the epitome of crazy stupid love.
He’ll put himself on the line for the lady in his life. He’ll be generous and giving to a fault. Think wining, dining, and being showered with expensive trinkets courtesy of the Kiriakis millions.
Mr. All Out
Paul (Christopher Sean) wears his heart on his sleeve and goes all-out for the man he loves. He proved his devotion to Sonny (Freddie Smith) during their courtship and engagement.
A date with Paul would likely include everything your heart could desire because he is definitely a fine chocolate, dozens of roses, and exquisite piece of jewelry kind of guy.
