Wedding Bells Are Ringing on Days of Our Lives

They say love makes the world go around, and that is especially true on soaps–a genre that thrives on relationships and supercouples.

This summer, it looks like “Days of Our Lives” will cash in on this great daytime fact with several weddings for hot couples during the hottest months of the year.

On Tuesday, Deidre Hall teased during her “Home & Family” appearance that several Salem couples will tie the knot soon. While we’re not sure who they all are, it seems John and Marlena will be one of them.

“We have got three love stories coming up this summer, mine among them,” Hall teased during her appearance. “Um, I didn’t say wedding, did I say wedding? No, I didn’t say that. I don’t think I said wedding, but there are several weddings coming up this summer.”

Hall can backtrack as much as she wants, but it seems she let the cat out of the bag. Of course, we wonder who the other couples might be.

Perhaps Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) will also tie the knot once again now that they’ve found their way back to one another. A double wedding with Belle’s parents might certainly draw in audiences. Another possible pair is Brady and Theresa.

We know Jen Lilley will last air on DAYS next fall, but that doesn’t mean Theresa can’t marry Brady first. After all, they are engaged.
