VIDEO FLASHBACK: Belle and Shawn’s First Dance at Their Wedding

When Belle and Shawn remarried on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), the moment was bittersweet for a very big reason.

As the video clip below begins, Doug (Bill Hayes) is narrating the action and talks about how John (Drake Hogestyn) is “gone” but will always be remembered! John is Belle’s (Martha Madison) father and marrying Shawn (Brandon Beemer) without him was hard.

The two enjoyed their first dance together but their song also served a purpose with a few other couples — including Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami (Alison Sweeney). It’s heartwarming to see these two, who share so much history, coming together for a dance.

It’s great to see both of these couples (well, one is still a couple) back on our screens this week as they both have rich histories.
