Unforgiven: Will Steve Forgive Kayla On Days Of Our Lives?

Steve knows that Kayla is lying to him about something on Days Of Our Lives. And he’s pretty sure it’s not about remodeling their kitchen, so he’s determined to find out what it is.

Almost as determined as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is to keep it a secret that she got into bed with Stefan (Tyler Christopher) – not literally, that’s Gabigail’s (Marci Miller) territory – but ethically, which is even worse. She did this to get Steve (Stephan Nichols) a bionic eye. That Stefan now controls.

Will the truth come out before Steve is arrested for espionage this week to oddly usher Stephen Nichols off the canvas? And, if it does, will Steve be able to forgive his Sweetness? Over 17,000 viewers have their suspicions:

Love Conquers All
Oh, of course, he will, 72% of you can’t even bother to worry. Kayla always forgives Steve – like that whole multiple decades of lying faux-dead. And Steve always forgives Kayla. It’s what they do, and who they are.

Sure, there will be some bumps along the way, some chest-beating, and foot-stomping, and long, soulful monologues… addressed to no one in particular.

But, in the end, they will forgive and forget, and maybe even tearfully recite poetry to each other. And then, since Nichols is leaving the show, he’ll just disappear and end up behind bars.

Not This Time
Of course, the fact that Nichols is leaving the show is what makes 27% of the fans suspect that, this time, Steve won’t be able to get past Kayla’s betrayal.

Who cares that she did it for him? Steve will make it all about him – but in a bad way. He’ll remind Kayla how much HE hates Stefan, and how could Kayla go against her own morals and values for HIM?

And then he’ll be arrested, looking heart-broken… yet self-righteous. A moral victory. Where nobody wins.
