It looks like JJ is a little too loose with that trigger finger next week on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). When checking out a break-in at a warehouse, JJ sees an intruder in a hoodie and just shoots.
Both he and Lani (Sal Stowers) are in a complete state of shock when they realize that JJ (Casey Moss) shot Theo (Kyler Pettis), according to the November 20 issue of Soap Opera Digest. Lani can barely believe the man she loves shot her brother.
Hope is forced to take JJ’s gun and suspend him for the second time in the course of a month as Abe (James Reynolds) and Valerie (Vanessa Williams) rush to the hospital while Theo fights for life.
Head Writer Ron Carlivati promises this story will somehow affect almost everyone on the canvas as core families take sides when one of their own is the shooter and one of their own is shot.
JJ was acting in the line of duty after all, but was he right to be so quick to shoot? That’s something Carlivati says will be explored.
A video posted on social media by Kyler Pettis several months ago indicated he’s leaving the show later this year. Is this Theo’s exit story? Theo was in the hospital in the video, but he looked recovered. Time will tell what actually happens.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
