On Days of Our Lives, it’s obvious that Stefan is a man who desperately wants to be loved.
He keeps whining about his uncaring adoptive parents, how Kate (Lauren Koslow) killed his biological mother, Vivian (Louise Sorel), and now Stefan (Tyler Christopher) has no one who loves him.
He developed a fascination with Chad’s (Billy Flynn) wife, Abigail (Kate Mansi), and claimed he downright fell in love with her alter-ego, Gabby.
Now that he thinks he and Gabby have a daughter, Charlotte, Stefan is eager to play happy family and make up for all the love he lacked in his childhood.
But dude, like Michael Jackson might have said, take a good look at the man in the mirror. Is that a man who deserves love? Here’s what fans think.
Take a Look At Yourself and Make That Chaaaaange
Everyone deserves love, but 54% of you think Stefan needs to do some serious work on himself, first. For one thing, stay away from other men’s wives. For another, stop blackmailing people over their eyeballs.
For a third, dude, lighten up. We know you’re supposed to be intense, but even dear old dad cracked a smile and even flat-out belly laughed once in a while. (Usually when someone else was suffering, but still…)
When you’re worthy of love, that’s when you’ll get it. You can’t force these things.
Unconditional Love
For 25% of the audience, however, Stefan is fine just the way he is. He’s a good man who just needs a someone to understand and take him in hand. He can change…but first you have to give him a reason.
Alone Again, Naturally
And then there’s the 21% who thinks, nope, Stefan is too selfish to deserve love. He should be alone – that means no Charlotte, either – until he learns the error of his ways. Then, you might be willing to revisit the topic.
