With Jennifer and Eve both on the Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) canvas again, is it time to bring back Frankie?
Back in the late 1980s/early 1990s, teens Frankie (Billy Warlock) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) were in star-crossed love. But scheming Eve (then-Charlotte Ross) wanted Frankie for herself. Frankie and Jennifer helped Eve beat a murder rap. And, along the way, Frankie honestly fell for Eve. The couple left town in 1991.
Frankie eventually returned without Eve, and he and Jennifer planned to get married. But then Jack showed up and, well, bye-bye, Frankie.
Except Jack is dead (again), and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) is a merry (and newly rich) widow, and Jennifer is way too wrapped up in her kids’ lives, and not enough in her own.

Yes, But…
For 38% of you, Frankie returning is fine. Frankie getting stuck in a love triangle, is not. You are, frankly, sick of them. Let him pick a woman, and stick with her. We can find out what went wrong with him and Eve the first time. Or we can pick up him and Jennifer where they left off. But three’s a crowd.
Bring It On!
A triangle now that the trio are all adults sounds awesome to 34% of the audience. There is a lot of unfinished business there, and fans feel they’re owed closure–as well as a happy ending.
Let It Go
The past is in the past, disagree 24% of you. You can’t go home again, and it’s a waste of time to try. Neither Jennifer, nor Eve, nor, presumably, Frankie, are the people they once were (literally in Eve’s case). What do they even have in common these days? If Frankie needs to come back, he also needs to move on.
