Days of Our Lives DiMera Brothers
The DiMera clan has been ruling Salem on Days of Our Lives for well over three decades.
First led by patriarch, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), The Phoenix who always rose again till this year, they have wreaked havoc all over town–and also out of town on many epic adventures.
Stefano was also the most prolific dad in town, as children turned up at every turn. Soap Hub asked you to choose your favorite DiMera, and it seems you like the handsome nice guys with a bit of that sneaky DiMera side.
The Dearly Departed
With more than 12,000 votes cast, 51% of you chose E.J. (James Scott) as your DiMera fave. The poor man has been gone for two years–shot and killed in the park after finally reuniting with Sami (Alison Sweeney).
You continue to hold out hope that he’s still alive and will be with his wife and children again one day. E.J. wasn’t always the most honest guy around, and that’s why he worked so well with Sami. Still, despite his sly ways, he will always hold a place in your heart.
The Current Main DiMera
Coming in a very close second with 48% of the vote is E.J.’s younger brother, Chad–the last of Stefano’s illegitimate brood. Chad (Billy Flynn) didn’t grow up a DiMera, but he’s adjusted to the lifestyle nicely.
However, he does NOT want his family business to be as crooked as it was under his father and is that rare DiMera with a total heart of gold. At the moment, that gold heart is broken as he believes he lost his beloved Abby (Marci Miller).
The “Misunderstood” One
Poor Andre (Thaao Penghlis) just can’t find many people to love him and is it any wonder why? The oldest DiMera sibling (and possibly the most evil) came in with just 1% of the vote. Those that love him enjoy his dry wit and can sympathize with his quest for acceptance. The rest of you see him for the serial killer that he is.
