The Days of Our Lives teen scene is in a state of flux now that Theo’s been shipped out of Salem.

The move has left Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Ciara (Victoria Konafel) without their favorite guy to vie over. While Tripp (Lucas Adams) is still around to help the gals pick up the pieces of their broken hearts, the addition of a few new young men could really rev things up. Here are a few suggestions as to what the show’s next move should be.

Missing Twins
Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) have a set of twins who could easily fit into the mix. Granted, they’re technically older than Sonny (Freddie Smith), but if soaps can rapidly age characters, surely they can make them younger, too.

Joey and Victor were adopted by the couple when they were first married. Perhaps they could both move to Salem. One could be honest and aboveboard; one could be a scoundrel, and they could both catch the eye of the Brady girls.

Alexander the Great
Aside from the twins, Justin also has a son, Alexander, with the late Anjelica, who he and Adrienne raised as their own. He could resurface and turn out to be a carbon copy of his mother – cocky, entitled, and someone who’ll do absolutely anything to get what he wants.

Ciara and Claire could fluctuate between loathing him and finding him irresistibly intriguing.

The Return of JT
Remember JT, the biological son of Glen Reiber and Dr. Rolf’s deceased niece Marlo? Bo and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) ended up with the child after a baby switch orchestrated by Stefano but ultimately had to surrender the toddler to his father when tests proved he wasn’t their son.

Why not have JT return to Salem? The teenager could have had a miserable childhood and be eager to get the know the loving family he was ripped away from? In the process, he could find a BFF in Tripp and either friendship or romance with Ciara and Claire.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
