We knew Blanca had to be around for a reason, right? So far, all she’s done during her months in Salem is look pretty at the Hernandez house. But, now it turns out this Days of Our Lives newcomer has a past (doesn’t everyone), and this past is about to take Theresa down, too.

Kurt Caceres has been cast as Guillermo, Blanca’s ex. But, it turns out he was somehow involved with Theresa, as well. Do Blanca (Ximena Duque) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) share a past we have not yet heard about? It’s not like these two have had any scenes together yet in which we’d see them recognize one another.

Carceres is a soap alum who has played Javier on General Hospital and Ed De La Roas on The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s set to make his Salem arrival any day now, and Jen Lilley told Soap Opera Digest last week that Guillermo’s appearance sets off the start of her exit story.

Lilley will depart DAYS next month, but has already been off the set since spring. While we don’t know exactly how Theresa leaves, we do know Lilley called Guillermo a pretty bad guy. Will he also cause fatal trouble for Blanca? It looks like a fascinating November, indeed, for DAYS.
