On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), Stefan blew into Salem as the son Stefano – and Vivian – never knew they had. (OK, now Vivian claims she knew, but that sure wasn’t evident in all the decades we’ve watched her on our screens.)
He announced he’d be taking over the DiMera empire. He tangled with Andre (Thaao Penhlis), Kate (Lauren Koslow), and Chad (Billy Flynn). And flirted with Abigail (Marci Miller), and Gabi (Camilla Banus).
Now Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is seemingly getting the best of both worlds (if you ignore the brutal beating from Chad). He’s got Abby… who thinks she’s Gabby. And she WANTS her husband’s brother.
But, do fans want Stefan to live happily ever after? Do you feel sorry for what Gabigail has put him through (not to mention the position she put him in)? Here’s how almost 4.000 feel:
Advantage Stefan
Stefan is scum, 92% of the audience pronounces definitively. He is taking advantage of a mentally ill woman for no reason but his own gratification.
Stefan doesn’t just want Abigail, he wants Abigial to be dependent on him.

Her killing Andre and splintering into multiple personalities played right into Stefan’s hands. Now he is the only one she can trust. If Stefan really cared about Abigail, he would have gotten her the help she needs, not helped her keep the real Abby locked up in her head.
Love Is Love
A romantic 8% believes that Stefan truly loves Abby. Or, rather, he loves the Gabby personality. She is a real person to him. And she loves him back. Stefan doesn’t give the impression of having had much love in his life. No wonder he is so desperate to cling to it once he finds it.
The minority of you feel sorry for him, and are rooting for Stefan and Gabigail to find happiness. Chad can always revert back to his own Gabi. Everybody wins!
