Whether you call them WilSon or think they’re Swill, the fact is Sonny and Will haven’t been seen too frequently on Days Of Our Lives.
There was the story with evil Leo (Greg Rikaart), and then we went straight into the “toomer” (say it like Arnold Schwarzenegger). Which, in itself, was triggered by Leo’s curse. Because Will (Chandler Massey) has certainly been previously shown to be terribly superstitious.
The tumor is benign. But it didn’t respond to radiation. It seems to have been caused by the secret elixir Will drank to get his memory back. Oh, no! The tragedy! The mystery!
Wouldn’t it, you know, be more tragic and mysterious is we actually, uhm, saw Will and Sonny (Freddie Smith) dealing with this latest obstacle? On screen? Are fans itching to see more of this couple? How almost 16,000 responded:
Of course, we want to see Will and Sonny, 67% of you stomp your feet and wave your fists in the air like angry natives in an out of date movie (yes, that includes Raiders of the Lost Ark).
They’re a hot, young, popular couple who deserve to be on the front burner. But not with a third party. You’ve had enough of that. And not suffering. You love them too much to watch them suffer.
Will and Sonny should be on the front burner, always happy, always in love, always faithful. Now figure out how to make that happen, writers!
Happily Ever After
You know the only way to make sure Sonny and Will get their happily ever after with no obstacles? Send them away, 33% of the audience advises. Let them live their lives somewhere else, instead of boring up our screens. They can go where Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Kate Mansi) went. They’re happy, no?
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
