At the end of last year, Julie Williams and actress Susan Hayes were brought to the forefront once again on Days of Our Lives as Julie’s dream came true. She had the go-ahead (from Abigail) to bring down “that mendacious bitch Gabi Hernandez” and no tumble down the Kiriakis stairs was going to stop her.
Sadly, DAYS’ budget might stop Julie for the next six months at least. According to a tweet from Bill and Susan Hayes’ account (the longtime married couple share an account), Julie will only be seen on-air 13 more times between now and September.
“For the sweet lady who asked: Julie sightings: Feb 20, 21; Mar 15; May 23; Jun 3; Jul 4, 26; Aug 14, 30; Sep 2, 3, 5, 17.,” Hayes tweeted.
The account then added that the 17th is a mistake and Julie will be seen September 18 instead.
We hope and assume some of these dates coincide with the memorial for Caroline Brady and Peggy McCay, as the actress died last year and DAYS plans something special for her with returning characters arriving back in Salem.
With Chloe and Nadia Bjorlin leaving the show, we expected to see more of Julie and not less as the character must run Doug’s Place on her own.
Hopefully, Bill and Susan Hayes have many more tape dates ahead and we’ll be seeing them well into the next decade.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
