Stay Awake With Veteran Soap Stars Scott and Melissa Reeves

Between them, Scott Reeves and Melissa Reeves have been on every network and almost every soap that’s on the air and have fans who have adored them in their various roles. But the two have taken on a new role — in a new town — and it’s an eye-opener.

Scott Reeves Has A Bean of An Idea

The couple has a farm in Franklin, Tennessee where they raise goats. The area, outside of Nashville, is becoming known for coffee connoisseurs — and the Reeves have gotten involved in their own way according to the website for their new business. Having loved coffee since the age of 6, Scott had an idea — to start a business roasting coffee.

Melissa must have loved the idea because a company — Revival Roasting Co. — was born, and she serves as creative director. That means she was the one to choose a name, find a good logo designer, and think up merchandise ideas, as well as figure out marketing tools that will help with their success. Scott’s job has been to find just the right beans.

Getting The Word Out

Happy with their products, it was time to get the word out — and that is something they have certainly been able to do. They’ve appeared on shows like Pickler & Ben, they have a presence on Instagram, and a robust site that you can order from, complete with a tutorial on how to do the perfect pour-over.

It’s a shame they can’t put a cup of that under Melissa Reeves’s Days of our Lives character’s nose, as poor Jennifer lays in a coma, after being thrown from a balcony by Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso). While we don’t really think a cup of coffee could pull someone out of a coma… well, you just never know on DAYS. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
