When Claire first arrived on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), trouble soon followed.
She may have been Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn-Douglas’ (Brandon Beemer) daughter, but we could all definitely see traces of her Aunt Sami (Allison Sweeney) and great-grandpa Victor (John Aniston). Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is an unapologetic schemer.
But why does she do it? Is it purely for attention? Does Claire just need more of it than any human being has a right to? Here is what almost 9,000 viewers had to say about that!
More Is More Is More
Yes, shout an overwhelming, landslide 98% of you! The girl is a bottomless pit! She needs to have everyone’s attention on her at all times, or else bad things happen.
It wasn’t enough just to have Theo (Kyler Pettis) wrapped around her finger, she needed Tripp (Lucas Adams), too – platonically, of course.
And with her parents out of town, Claire demanded that Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall), Grandma Hope (Kristian Alfonso), and Grandpa John (Drake Hogysten) focus on her, too.
When it seemed that Ciara (Victoria Konefel) knew something that Claire didn’t – and that she shared it with Tripp – Claire wouldn’t rest until she also knew what it was.
And, now that she does, it’s time for Rafe (Galen Garing) to snap to attention! But she’ll start merely with teasing Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Who, in her day, was actually a lot like Claire….
Normal Is As Normal Does
When your parents abandon you for months at a time, you can’t be blamed for craving adult attention, defend a tiny 2%.
If Claire believed Belle and Shawn cared as much about her as they do about their careers, she’d chill out a little and stop looking for approval by stirring up trouble. But, until that happens, you’re going to enjoy it!
