While she hasn’t been on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) in a long time, longtime fans still remember her heartwarming portrayal of Brady’s mom. Now actress Staci Greason celebrates a special day!
Greason was born on May 23, 1964, in Evergreen, Colorado, which means that she’s turning 54 years old today!
She originated the role of Isabella Toscano back in 1989 and was wildly popular when paired with John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Then, Marlena (Deidre Hall) came back from the dead and it looked like the couple might be over — until Roman (then played by the original actor Wayne Northrop) also returned.
Another nail in the coffin of John and Marlena happened when Isabella turned out to be pregnant. She gave birth to Brady and sadly passed away from cancer soon after in 1992. She returned from time to time as a ghost.
Prior to her work on DAYS, Greason appeared in the films Terror Night and Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood and TV shows like Likely Suspect and Joe’s Life with Another World alum, Mary Page Keller (ex-Sally).
While she’s currently a writer and retired from acting, it seems that DAYS is the only show that can occasionally lure her back. Her essays have appeared in Brevity, Slate, Lunch Ticket, and The Huffington Post.
Greason is also a writing coach with her own website, TheWriteMuse.biz, where she offers one-on-one coaching and works to craft book proposals, script consultations, as well as conduct brainstorming sessions and workshops.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
