Key Takeaways
- Jada and Shawn 2.0.
- Alex is stuck between Stephanie and Joy.
- Amy makes a confession to Melinda.
- Holly and Tate make out.
- Leo warns Gwen.
Jada and Shawn Explore a Second Chance
Jada (Elia Cantu) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) had real sparks the last time around. Certainly, much more chemistry than Jada ever exhibited with Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Work and life got in the way of Jada and Shawn staying together, but now that he’s living with her while recovering from shooting wounds, it looks like Cupid might strike again. And for good.
Alex Gets Caught in Joy and Stephanie’s Growing Tension
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) swore to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) that she would support him while Alex co-parented baby Kelsey with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins). But Stephanie didn’t fully comprehend that meant Kelsey and Joy were a package deal.
Stephanie doesn’t want Kelsey’s mommy around. Joy isn’t thrilled about her baby girl being in the hands of two people who have no clue what they’re doing with childcare. Which means Alex now has to broker the peace… between both of them.
Amy Opens Up to the One Person Who Understands
Amy (Shi Ni Nielson) is still suffering, thinking her daughter was in so much pain that Sophia (Rachel Boyd) committed suicide. She turns to Melinda (Tina Huang), who was there for Sophia during her pregnancy more than Amy was. And who knows what it’s like to lose a child.
In the meantime, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) also insist they are suffering and feeling guilty over Sophia’s end. But why should they stop them from having a good time while they murmur, “Poor Sophia. Poor, poor Sophia.”
Leo Sees Danger Ahead for Gwen
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) told Leo (Greg Rikaart) her plan to bring down EJ. She even said he can write about it — after she’s dead. Leo and Gwen haven’t been getting along too great lately. But he still doesn’t want her to die, either. So he warns her to be careful. That’ll do it.
