DAYS Spoilers: Will Paulina Finally Get Her Comeuppance?

Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 1 celebrate International Workers’ Day with EJ deciding to do a job on Paulina, as Chanel possibly suffers for her mother’s hubris.

Right Back at You

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) did not appreciate Mayor Price reading him the riot act about using his office to benefit members of his family. Such things simply do not happen in Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) administration, and she just cannot fathom what gave EJ the idea that it might be acceptable.

She shrieked at him. He pulled her back by reminding her of her latest selfish action. Paulina huffed and puffed but let EJ go. EJ, however, is not about to let her disrespect go. He plans to make her pay for her offenses. By going on the defensive.

The Power of the Press

Nicole (Arianne Zucker, who revealed her last airdate) promised Chad (Billy Flynn) that, as a newly minted reporter at The Spectator, she would not cover any stories about the DiMeras. However, she did not promise that she wouldn’t cover any stories suggested by a DiMera.

EJ pointed Nicole in the direction of Paulina, using public resources to rescue her Chanel (Raven Bowens). EJ is absolutely delighted to think that Nicole will write a hard-hitting expose about it. But will he be equally delighted to learn that Nicole’s new co-worker is Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)? Nicole, for her part, doesn’t know how to feel about it. But it’s not like Eric has time to focus on her. He’s too busy trying to keep his wife from giving Leo (Greg Rikaart) more money because she can never let him know why she’s really doing it.

Isn’t It Ironic

And speaking of Chanel, she isn’t feeling well these days. Could her beloved mama’s rescue attempt have led to radiation poisoning? Or maybe Chanel is just pregnant? Worse, what if she’s pregnant…and suffering from radiation poisoning? Thanks to Mama. A diagnosis would be truly appreciated as quickly.
