Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of September 7-11, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- Joy makes a new demand that leaves Stephanie outraged.
- Sydney crashes Philip and Gabi’s Monte Carlo plans and joins their high-stakes poker game.
- Stefano’s missing ring resurfaces on the finger of a mysterious man.
The Troublemaker
Even from her hospital bed, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) continues to wreak havoc for Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein).
As Joy tosses a beautiful bouquet of flowers into the trash (perhaps a gift from her baby daddy’s wife), Stephanie learns something that outrages her. “I have to stay ten feet away from Kelsey?” she asks Alex, absolutely appalled by Joy’s latest demand.
Old Love, New Love
Xander (Paul Telfer, who teases what his character’s life will look like in a year from now) holds a dress in his hands and then sadly places it in a packing box. It likely belongs to his ex-wife, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), whom he still loves deeply. However, she’s moved on. At least she’s telling herself that. Across town, she’s in bed with her new boyfriend, Brady (Eric Martsolf).
Cryptic Conversations
Johnny (Carson Boatman) meets with a mystery man, who asks him, “What are you going to do to get him to back the hell off?” Additionally, Leo (Greg Rikaart) has an intriguing conversation with Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) in Horton Square. “The dead man switch letter I told you about a couple of months ago,” begins Leo. “What about it?” asks an inquisitive Cat.
Enter Sydney
Meanwhile, in Monte Carlo, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) are determined to win big, so Philip can pay back the family’s loan to EJ (Dan Feuerriegel, who dissected the current state of his character) and save the Kiriakis mansion. However, they run into an obstacle: EJ’s daughter, Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh).
“By the time we meet, we’ll be at the poker table,” says Philip. “And may the best man… or woman win,” responds a confident Sydney.
Put A Ring on It
EJ places a call to someone about a precious family heirloom. “About my father’s ring,” he begins. “I need to know if you’ve been able to find it yet.”
The ring suddenly appears. It’s on the hand of someone’s pinkie finger, although that person’s identity is not revealed.
