Days of our Lives Spoilers Weekly Video Preview: Plotting Payback, Unraveling a Murder, Finding John and ‘Abigail’

A crazed woman wants payback, a suicide screams foul play, and the search for the late Abigail leads to…John, according Days of our Lives spoilers preview. Plus, a pair of platonic pals might be evolving into something more. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of August 5 – 9, 2024.

Plotting a Murder?

Bonnie (Judi Evans) walks into the pub and hears something startling, but that’s because she thinks it’s coming out of Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) mouth. However, it’s coming from her lookalike, Hattie, who’s reading a Body & Soul script aloud and says, “All that’s left is for you to kill my husband.”

John Resurfaces

Speaking of husbands, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) bust into the room in the abandoned building where they’re hoping to find Abigail but instead discover Marlena’s significant other, John (Drake Hogestyn). It turns out he’s being held there. But why?

Finding ‘Abigail‘

Moments later, Chad and Jack come face-to-face with the mystery woman being played by AnnaLynne McCord. “You could be my daughter,” Jack tells her. “And my wife,” adds Chad. The confused woman can’t believe what she’s hearing. “You really think I could be this Abigail person?” she asks them.

Hot Stuff

Things heat up between drinking buddies Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas). The twosome, who have spent a few platonic nights together, share a steamy kiss and a few laughs before falling onto Fiona’s bed.

Cryptic Death

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) reveals the latest news to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). “Everett’s dead,” she announces.

Across town, Jada (Elia Cantu) shares some evidence she gathered regarding Everett’s “death” with Paulina (Jackée Harry). “A suicide note and a criminal confession,” muses Paulina while reading Everett’s supposed last words. “Something’s not right,” counters Jada, who suspects foul play in her gut.

Making Them Pay

Meanwhile, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) gives Stefan (Brandon Barash) a sweet peck on the cheek as Ava (Tamara Braun) looks on. Later, Stefan questions Ava, desperate to keep the news of their tryst from his wife. “Did you explicitly say that you and I…” he asks, his voice trailing off.

It looks like the delusional Connie (Julie Dove) is determined to make sure Gabi finds out the truth since she wants to punish the couple she blames for Li’s murder, even though Connie’s the one who actually stabbed him to death. “I’m going to make them pay for what they did,” she proclaims to Li (Remington Hoffman) in another fantasy scene. “Ohhhh. This is going to be ugly,” chuckles Li with delight.
