Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of December 16-20, 2024 tease the biggest court battle of the year after some last minute twists.
Monday, December 9, 2024, Episode #15005
Chanel (Raven Bowens) walked in on Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) arguing and Johnny covered by saying Alex slept with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins). Alex went along with it, and when Chanel left the room, he tore into Johnny but promised he wouldn’t say anything. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) attempted to pay off Joy, but when Kate (Lauren Koslow) happened upon them, EJ told her Joy planned on quitting and Kate reminded her she has a contract and Joy decided to stay. She later stopped by Alex’s to tell him she’s staying and Alex told her about the lie about them sleeping together. Leo (Greg Rikaart) summoned Rafe (Galen Gering) to help find Lady Whistleblower and wound up confiding in him about messing up with his cousin, while Javi (Al Calderon) bonded with Jada (Elia Cantu) and vented about Leo. Later, Rafe shared with Jada that Hattie (Deidre Hall) may be behind Lady Whistleblower, while Javi found Leo in the square and Leo asked if he wants him to join him to watch an episode of Body & Soul until a guy Leo hooked up with arrived to go on a date with Javi.
Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Episode #15006
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reunited with Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Roman (Josh Taylor) and shared her suspicions about Doug III (Peyton Meyer) with them. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) worried about JJ and Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) comforted her. Doug III thought back to watching through the window when Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) discovered the necklace, then Jennifer showed up and had to tell Julie the necklace was missing and they suspect Steve (Stephen Schnetzer). Later, Hope came and said goodbye to Julie, then warned Doug III that she’ll be back if he does anything to hurt Julie. JJ woke up with Gabi’s (Cherie Jimenez) hand on his chest, then the two received a note under their door from Clyde (James Read) ordering Chad to bring Cat to the back room of a club. Meanwhile, Chad woke Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) up from a nightmare about her mother, then JJ and Gabi showed up to their room to show them Clyde’s note. Thanks to Steve’s intel, JJ and Gabi broke into Clyde’s room were approached by Clyde at gunpoint, while Chad and Cat arrived at the location and were approached by Cat’s mom, Catharina (Susan Elena Matus, who made her DAYS debut), at gunpoint.
Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Episode #15007
Leo (Greg Rikaart) met with Marlena (Deidre Hall) to talk about one ex hooking up with another, while Kerry (Derek Yates) and Javi (All Calderon) went on another date and Leo ran into them at the pub. Brady (Eric Martsolf) argued with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) about taking Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) to see The Nutcracker, then ran into Ava (Tamara Braun) and they discussed the possible sparks between them and Brady asked her to join him for The Nutcracker. In Vancouver, Clyde held Gabi at gunpoint and JJ called his bluff and held up his gun. Cat reunited with her mother, it Catharina didn’t recognize her daughter and Chad realized she’s been brainwashed. Chad tackled her and got her restrained before receiving an SOS from JJ. He took off while Cat convinced her mom it was truly her and Catharina snagged her gun and went to get payback on Clyde. Just as Clyde was about to shoot JJ, Chad showed up and clocked him over the head. When he woke up, Chad tried getting answers out of him before Catharina showed up and shot him.
Thursday, December 12, 2024, Episode #15008
After Catharina shot, Chad lashed out at her, now unable to get answers. Aaron (Louis Tomeo) called Cat and she told him she found their mom, then arrived at Clyde’s apartment and found out what her mother did. JJ searched Clyde’s laptop for information while Cat joined Chad at the hospital to learn about Clyde’s condition and Cat came face-to-face with her mom again before she was arrested for shooting Clyde. Later, they learned Clyde was in a coma. Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) took a break from homework to go on a proper date. They ran into Aaron in the square and he confided in them about his mom and sister and they helped take his mind off it by helping him make a Christmas list for his younger sister. Cat later called him and told him their mom was arrested. Kayla helped distract Steve from not being there to help Chad and JJ and they wrapped presents and decorated the tree.
Friday, December 13, 2024, Episode 15009
Brady came home and reunited with Belle (Martha Madison), while Shawn (Brandon Barash) enlisted Justin (Wally Kurth) to look over his divorce papers. Justin asked for his support with Xander’s (Paul Telfer) and he declined, telling him he’s on Philip’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) side. Later, when Shawn ran into Jada (Elia Cantu) at the pub, he apologized for his past mistakes and she offered him a job at the SPD and he accepted. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) arrived at Philip’s room to discuss his case and he almost admitted his letter was forged, but then didn’t. He got a call from his lawyer telling him he quit, so he sought Belle to represent him. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) supported Xander as he prepared for court by sitting on his back as he did pushups. Ava came across Kristen in the square and the two had it out over Brady. When Ava told her that Brady asked her to The Nutcracker, Kristen slapped her and Ava slapped her back. Later, Kristen plotted with Stefano’s portrait about how to get Ava out of her way.
Soon, in Salem, things heat up in court between Xander and Philip, while the youngsters in Salem get shocks.
